taken in merbok malaysia. my dads friend actually owns this.. 2km stretch of water fall!. n sadly, this is where i had to test the weather seals on my d200. some little kid jumped into the water with the intention of wetting me.. got my cam wet too!... n he chased away the butterfly just as i got ready to shoot a better angle... o wells...glad to announce the cams still working=) to bad the butterfly's sucking on newspaper... tried to disguise it as much as i could. haha
o.. sry if i havent been replying and commenting during the week days... schools quite hectic now.. haha. get home late almost everyday. thnx for all your comments!! really appreciate=)
This is wonderful - beauty even when there's not much sustenance in a newspaper!! Hope the camera is OK...

@Evelyn: thanx Evelyn! was very worried the butterfly wouldnt be in focus actually.. cos it kept pacing up and down the newspaper. and had to use focus lock so i could get it the moments it turned its side to me. good thing it turned out fine=P
beautiful butterfly against a beautiful background.

hey... i think this is one of the most beautiful photos among those that you've posted. i really love it. truly, my immediate reaction was that wow it induces such an emotion of tranquility. wow, images taken which evoke feelings within you and make something stir inside, as compared to those which merely make you go 'hey that looks pleasing', are indeed suggestive of skill.

I like that it was on newspaper. Don't disguise it. You've got some nice pics Ben.
