heys. this is the colours version of the pic i posted on the 3rd of jan
let me noe wad your think about it=P is it better or worse than the b&w?
o and.. real sorry i havent been visiting anyone.. but i ve been v packed with sch work.. barely managed to get time to post too.. hope yr are all taking more great shots!
The fishy is no longer dead centre - close but not as centred as the black and white. I think he has to stay somewhere near the centre - the rest of the photo would have nothing to say because it is just blurry background. He stands out better in this photo I think - probably because of the color behind him. I see the light part on the left disappeared too! Overall I would say this is a good photo - emphasis placed on the fish and net with a blurred background. Good cropping job!

PS. I should have said the light part on the left had turned blue (a big improvement) not disappeared. Oops!

@Anne: o heys thnx anne. the light part was actually tht pillar. but now theres an extra bit of blue on the right. hmm... i put it lower than center to capture the net. but it does look weird like that. haha. o.. this is the original pic. no crop
I like more this one because you keep emphasis on the fish but the net gives a plus to the picture, it is an interesting shape and mixture of lines to follow that ends with the hanging fish. The other one is a nice cropping. For both photos, great job!

It's a great shot, I like this more than the previous one as it seems to have a greater sense of distance to it.

Nice shot, great composition. I love the position of the net with the unlucky fish dangling at the end of it

This is an extraordinary shot...I rank this no 1 in today's posts at Aminus3.

Hi Benjamin, great shot. I listed it on my photo notes but it was a Nikon 28-70 2.8 AF-S ED lens. I look forward to seeing more of your work!

I think I like this one more, because the colors are subtle and add a greater sense of depth and space. The fish is, after all, a very small fish! It looked bigger in the tight crop.
