inspired by what many of your said about the mosquitoes, i decided to post this=P i myself cant stand to stare at it for more than 20 seconds. haha.. this pic shows the resolving power of this lens though... at 100% crop, you can actually see the tissue fibers inside the head.. but thats the grossest part of it...=P actually.. the pic kinda fits in with this weeks theme of b&w.. haha. funny that the bug is in black and white.. we usually have it brown here in spore. o.. this was taken in frasers hill msia. lovely weather there.. vivitar series one 105mm f.2.5 macro. just another excuse to make me want this lens=PP
GROSS. Hahaha. At least I looked at it.
But still... EW!

Eeeeek! Your insect photos are just horrible - but very well done Benjamin. The macro is excellent down to the last grossest detail.

this is really freaky! hairy legs... and you can see the inside of its head!
but wow it's amazing how you managed to catch such a close-up shot of something so creepy scurrying around, and have it look so professional too! i wonder how you manage to take all these shots... like the photos with the damselflies as well. =) pro!
