big or small, light or dark, young or old. they re all family. brothers and (mostly)sisters
yet another close up. of insects. not really on purpose. today my sis wanted to go sailing and found this colony of ants inside. dumped them out and took this macro. used a vivitar AF 100mm. bought this lens for Singapore $25. cos one of the lens elements has fungus. for real close ups it just passes.. but cant do anything else.. so you ll have to excuse the softness in this one. im waiting to get rid of it. but not b4 i get another macro. just in case=P
o.. they're wood ant larvae and pupae. incase you were wondering. like e wrinkly appearance on the pupae=P
Easier on the eye than your cockroaches.

hey! so many photos of insects/bugs! this isn't as creepy as the cockroach pic and it's cute... though i think it'll still be quite freaky to come close to it live.
the bigger, brown ones (larva/pupae??) look like loaves of bread! or baguettes.
